Schulz Transportation was founded in 1980 with a single truck and trailer. We started out hauling grain during harvest season and refrigerated products all year. We gave up hauling grain to focus entirely on refrigerated goods in the mid 1980’s. We gradually expanded through hard work and dedication, growing our fleet to 100 trucks by 2007. We made a name for ourselves as one of the hardest-working carriers with the best equipment on the road.
Schulz Transportation is a refrigerated truckload carrier. Our main customers serve the foodservice industry and we have extensive experience in this area. Produce transport is an area we specialize in. We have been hauling produce for around 20 years now and we are confident that we are one of the best produce carriers in the industry. While this is the main focus of our company, we also serve other industries as well.
We transport palletized grain, packaging materials, nursery stock, industrial goods, and pharmaceuticals, to name a few. Basically, if it will fit in a 53 foot reefer trailer, we will consider transporting it.
After planning and discussion, the Schulz family felt it would make sense to put our experience in the transportation industry to use through a new freight brokerage company. Schulz Logistics was chosen as the name and here we are!
As you can tell by our MC number, we are a new company. Please rest assured we are not new to trucking. Schulz Transportation has gotten to where it is by taking care of people and doing exactly what we say we are going to do. This is something you can expect from Schulz Logistics as well.
